Beachfront Suites
Situated beachside, the rooms offer virtually uninterrupted views over Brammo Bay with direct access to the beach. Set in small groups of four units (two units upstairs, two downstairs), Beachfront Suites are bright and spacious with a king bed and a luxurious bathroom with a twin vanity. Dunk’s eco-friendly 9 hole golf course, with boardwalks through dense rainforest, offers spectacular views of the Family Islands and the mainland.

* The Dunk Island Golf Course is situated on freehold land surrounded by both National and Marine Parks. As such the Course has been constructed and is being maintained in the most environmentally sensitive manner to ensure the protection of surrounding ecosystems.

* In what must be close to a world first, the Course construction involved no major earthworks and the layout was designed around our trees (making the course quite demanding). The natural drainage has not been disturbed and all water is sourced on demand from a spring fed dam. Grasses native to Dunk Island are used on the tees and fairways.

* For the non golfer, the walk around the course shows some of the stunning aspects and views of the Island.

Getting There

Dunk Island is located approximately 4 kilometres off the Tropical North Queensland coast (the township of Mission Beach), midway between Townsville and Cairns.

Air Connections
Via Cairns with Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Blue. The flight between Cairns and Dunk Island is operated by Hinterland Aviation and takes 45 minutes. Please note passengers on connecting scheduled flights to Dunk Island may be limited to one suitcase and one small carry-on item of hand luggage each. A limit of 32 kg applies (subject to loading restrictions).

Sea Connections

A waking dream. Set within its own lagoon, Huvafen Fushi Maldives is a pristine island resort, a naturalist’s wonderland, offering 43 naturally-modern bungalows. Home to the world’s first underwater spa.

Tatiana, you have to experience this one. The main entrance, the sofas, the Bang & Olufsen hi-fi system, …. The place was huge and had gorgeous view! The coolest thing was the remote-controlled sliding glass above the pool. The bathtub … after we turned on the tap, water would start coming down from the hole in the ceiling! We also went out to check out the underwater Wine cellar. The outdoor veranda, was a very simple but pretty set up for wedding or private dining.

Getting There

Huvafen Fushi, in North Malé Atoll of the Maldives, is a breathtaking 30 minute luxury speedboat ride from Malé International Airport. On arrival, after being greeted by your ‘Thakuru’, or Maldivian Butler, a quick cruise, skimming across the azure Indian Ocean, will prepare you for a magnificently sensual escape into paradise. Weekly Rental Rates
Note: The prices below include not only house rental, but house beverages, butler service, food, golf cart, and the use of non-motorized activities. Small boats are available for guest use – pending competency test and weather conditions.

Rates are based on a three-night minimum stay, except for Christmas & New Years which is a seven-night minimum stay. Rates also include food, house beverages, butler service, golf carts and the use of all non-motorized activities. Small boats are available for guest use pending competency test and weather conditions. Golf carts are available for guest use pending valid driver’s license and guest must be 18+ years of age. Children under the age of 5 are on special request at a charge of $500 per week.

Step 3: The Fowl Cay boat will pick you up at Staniel Cay for the short boat ride back to the island.

The architecture of all buildings is French Colonial to commemorate the heritage of the Seychelles and to blend in with the traditional designs. Only four individual Villas were built to ensure comfort and
maximum privacy for guests and to reduce the impact of man on the island.

Each Villa has a floor space of 175m² which allows for spacious and tastefully decorated rooms fitted with comfortable furnishings and appliances. The majority of the building materials used was sourced locally.

Food and Drink

All products and ingredients used are sourced locally, supporting the local community, thus ensuring the freshest ingredients. Fresh fish is bought from the local fisherman on Praslin or Mahe. Although we grow a lot of our own fruits and herbs we also buy them from local farmers.

Cousine Island’s chefs prepare meals to satisfy each guest’s individual taste. Typical Creole cuisine can be sampled here but dishes with Asian and European influences are also available.

On Cousine there is no menu, our chefs discuss each meal and dish personally with our guest ensuring that meals are prepared to order.

The Island has one airy dining area which is located in the main building called The Pavillion and overlooks the freshwater swimming pool, the Indian Ocean and the islands of Praslin, Cousin
and Aride.

Bird watching: Cousine Island has a variety of Seychelles endemic birds, including the Seychelles Magpie Robin currently considered a critically endangered species.

Walks: Various paths around the island and into the forest and hill areas are outlaid on the island map in each villa. Guided walks with the Island Ecologists are available but walks can also be enjoyed alone.

Conservation programs: Guests are encouraged to take part in the various conservation programs and activities that are running on the island e.g.:
- Tree planting
- Turtle monitoring
- Ringing and feeding of Magpie Robins

Snorkelling: Guided snorkelling is available, equipment is complimentary from the office and guests can also explore on their own.

Swimming pool: Located at The Pavillion, the pool is filled with freshwater.
Library: The library has a selection of reference books as well as novels, DVD’s, Videos and CD’s. The library is open for guests to use at any time during the day.
Organised water sports: Diving and fishing can be arranged on request.
Excursions: Excursions by boat to other islands are available and can be arranged on request.
Internet: Broadband internet access is currently available in the library and will soon be available in the villas.
Spa: Ligne St Barth Spa treatments are offered in the newly opened Beach House Wellness Retreat.
Gym: The gym is located in the Beach House and guests may use this facility complimentary.

Wildlife and Eco-Tourism

Cousine Island has always been a uniquely valuable haven to the flora and fauna of the Seychelles. The island has escaped the introduction of alien mammals and as a result, the delicate web of endemic bird life and supporting flora and fauna has remained intact. The island has been privately owned for 13 years and has been transformed into a private nature reserve through a
systematic rehabilitation program, replanting of endemic trees and plants and the establishment of colonies of Seychelles endemic birds. Cousine still has the enviable status of being the only island in the Seychelles archipelago totally free of alien mammals.

Hawksbill and Green turtles nest on Cousine’s shores, with approximately 14,000 Hawksbill Turtle hatchlings being released per breeding season (Nov-Mar). In order to protect the delicate ecosystem, Cousine Island prefers guests to arrive by helicopter thus ensuring against the introduction
of any alien species. The guests share the island with its natural inhabitants, offering some of the closest encounters with nature in the Seychelles.

By staying on Cousine Island the guests contribute to the funding needed to secure its future. All funds raised by Cousine Island Trust are used to run the island.

Cousine Island is situated 6km off the West coast of Praslin and close to the island of Cousin. The island is 25 hectares (62 acres) in size, approximately 1.4km long and 400m wide.
Although small in size, Cousine Island plays an important role in the conservation of the Seychelles.

One of my favorite places in the world, Fregate Private Island lies just four degrees south of the equator, accessible easily by a scenic 20 minute flight from Mahe. It is a spectacularly beautiful island, rising 125 meters out of the Indian Ocean, like the bird after which it is named, Frégate symbolizes tropical paradise at its most inspirational. Fregate Island Private covers three square kilometers and is the most remote and secluded of the Seychelles granite islands.

Boasting seven white beaches and vibrant coral reef. No more than 40 guests at a time, which helps preserve the island’s unique flora, fauna, and natural beauty. I spent many afternoons at the Rock Spa perched on a clifftop plateau over the sea. Treatments stem from India, Australia and Polynesia, all use locally grown ingredients. Afterwards, relax with a cool coconut-milk drink and enjoy the expansive views of the Indian Ocean.

Frégate has 16 villas, restricting the number of guests to a maximum of 40 at any one time. The island remains exclusive to its guests – no day visitors are allowed – with each villa positioned to ensure ultimate privacy.

The villas are built of native mahogany and blend harmoniously into the natural surroundings. The tropical feel of the buildings is deliberately casual. Each villa has a large terrace with a day bed and jacuzzi as an extension of the living area. The light and spacious interior houses colonial-style furniture and state-of-the-art technology.

Food and Drink

During the 16th and 17th centuries, seeking shelter following their raids, pirates made fregate their home. The island would have provided them with everything they needed: secret hideaways, fresh water and an abundant supply of food. Their stories are told in the museum housed in the Plantation House. In the evening, the Plantation House turns into a romantic restaurant serving traditional Creole dishes and island specialities. This historical building evokes memories of the island’s past and is a wonderful venue for open air dining.

The alternative dining venue is Frégate House, where a gourmet menu features the Chef’s daily selection of local produce. Dining is available on the lower terrace and also in the restaurant. Guests can also dine in the privacy of their own villa or at the Beach Bar at Anse Bambous.

Activities

Frégate Island offers a host of activities on, in and under the water. There are two freshwater pools and seven beaches – one of which, Anse Victorin, is renowned as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Discover another world while snorkeling, explore the ocean aboard a hobie
cat or kayak, go game fishing aboard the island’s launches, Fregate Bird and Little Fregate or take a boat trip to explore a remote island.

For those who prefer to stay ashore there is a fully equipped gym and an extensive library. Guests can also climb Mount Signal, with a summit of 125 meters, or enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the Seychelles aboard a helicopter or a small aircraft.

For the Kids
Frégate’s Cast Away Club keeps younger guests entertained with outdoor activities, crafts and cookery that immerse them in their own tropical island fantasy.

Getting There

The easiest way to Frégate Island from Mahé is via the air. The helicopter is for 6 people maximum and costs from 969 Euro one way. The twin-engine ‘Twin Otter’ is for 20 people maximum and costs from 1,070 Euro one way. All flights are managed by independent companies, ‘Helicopter Seychelles’
and ‘Air Seychelles’ and are subject to change without prior notification.

Marina
Fregate’s Yacht Club, Marina and PADI Dive Centre are situated on the lower plateau of the island, opposite the plantation. Sailing and motorboats take guests to the numerous dive sites around the
island. The marina overlooks a turquoise lagoon, protected by a small reef which restricts the waves and makes the beach here particularly safe for swimmers, snorkelers and beginner divers.

Worth Knowing

Internet:
An individual Internet connection (high speed Broadband) is available free of charge for your personal laptop directly from your villa. A computer is also available in the Library for your convenience.

Mobile Phone:
Most mobile phones are supposed to work on the island as long as the phone has International Roaming capabilities. Reception can be interrupted on the island with it being a granite island, but around the main guest areas (lobby etc.) the signal is adequate. Dual or tri-band mobile phones can be used. The user will be able to use the network of Airtel (sms available) or the Seychelles net Seycell (no sms available).

Credit Cards:

Fitness Center:
Enjoy the facilities and services of our air-conditioned Fitness Centre in a relaxing and peaceful ambience overlooking the Indian Ocean. Twenty minutes out from the capital of Mahe, our helicopter pilot pointed to our Indian Ocean island sanctuary, first to a small beach, then to a clearing and then to two people standing by an electric buggy – our welcome party at North Island Lodge, a private island. Soon After check in at our beach side villa (complete with an open-air lounge and plunge pool), we ventured out to explore the beach, activity center, library, dive center, and swimming pool (bicycles and buggies are available for farther exploration) Dining was a true highlight the chef’s prepared what we wanted, when we wanted it but be sure to enjoy the local specialties as well.

North Island Guest’s preference for privacy and their own space is met with an optimum villa design. Each villa measures 450 square meters (4,890 feet), giving guests the exclusive feeling and enough room to spread out and enjoy a unique private, island-style experience to the full.

Villas 1-10: Each Villa has two bedrooms, a master bedroom and a second bedrom. While the villa is primary occupied by one or two guests, they may have requirement to use the second bedroom for children nineteen years and younger and this is available at an additional cost.

Individually handcrafted by Seychellois and African craftsmen on the island, the principle materials used in building each villa were wood, local stone, glass and thatched roofs. All this combines for a warm and inviting space that offers guests that rare opportunity to relax completely.

The luxuriously proportioned master bedroom with change-room and writing are leads onto a large en-suite bathroom with marble bath and two showers, one indoor and one outdoor. The bedrooms are air-conditioned and all rooms have an overhead “punkah punkah” fans. The fully retracting sliding doors allow for uninterrupted views onto the lawns and turquoise seas in front of each villa.

Included are Internet Access, Satelite Television, a DVD/CD System. A private plunge pool and sauna are the finishing touches in this private sanctuary.

Villa 11: A chamption of style, the luxurious Villa 11 is completely unique, secretly tucked away in the Takamaka forest with picturesque palms forming a natural frame. Its layout has been designed to accommodate the incline along the extreme northern side of the Anse d’est Beach. The beach views from this Villa is truly spectacular from every angle. The remarkable design and positioning separates Villa 11 from the rest, and earns it a name, cheap pills online without prescription the Villa North Island.

The area is private and , together with the hanging shower and bathroom, forms a personal spa experience at your own villa.

Besides its virgin beauty, North Island is known for its fertility and the richness of the fishing grounds wherein it nestles. It is not surprising therefore, that North Island’s Lodge should draw upon these exceptional natural resources.

There is a “no menu” concept of dining on North Island.
Your personal chef, speaks to each guest, explains the north cuisine concept, gets to know your personal food preferences and then develops the menus daily around this information.

This memorable culinary experience, is complemented by an impressive cellar with some of the world’s great wines and champagnes.

Getting There

North Island is located 32km off the coast of Mahé and can be reached easily within 20 minutes by helicopter.

Flight Description: From Mahé International Airport it is only an approximately 20 minute flight, past Sainte Anne Marine National Park and Victoria. After North East Point and Beau Vallon, North and Silhouette Island are only a few minutes away. To make a reservation for this flight, please contact either North Island directly, or use a secure booking form provided by HelicopterSeychelles.com. Flights from Mahe cost approximately 800 EUR.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: North Island will be closed from 15 May to 15 August 2009 (both days included) for a planned expansion and up-liftment process which includes enhancements to the existing villas as well as the building of three additional private villas on the island. North Island will be closed to guests during the building period and rates for the three new villas will be published in due course. Bookings for the existing villas 1 to 11 will operate as normal for the periods that North Island is open. Above is our rate sheet – please note that North Island have held their 2008 rates for 2009.

Stay in a beautiful Balinese style house and enjoy the cool breeze from your balconies and amazing views of the ocean. You have the choice of a room in The Great House, or in one of the individual Bali Houses.

The Great House: This beautiful house on the top of Devils Hill is the heart of the island. The Great House brings everyone together whether for drinks before dinner, leisurely chats on the comfortable sofas, a game of snooker or to party and dance the night away to the strains of a piano or local calypso band. Relax on the outside terrace with hammocks and couches for that perfect lazy afternoon whilst a sundowner on the Crows Nest is a must.

The Great House has eight stunning rooms, each with a balcony, comfy four poster king sized beds with mosquito nets and ensuite bathrooms.

Bali Houses: The five unique Bali houses dotted over the island are perfect for tropical seclusion. Three houses have three tiered levels with alfresco style living. The other two are spacious one level suites. Each house has access to pools and of course stunning views of the ocean or across the island.

Food and Drink

On Necker you can eat whatever you like, whenever you like. Our chefs will prepare guests favourites, or wow them with their Michelin star cuisine. Every evening is an adventure as guests dine in some of the most stunning locations around the island

What Is There To Do on Necker? (All Included)

• Dip into one of our two freshwater pools or the Jacuzzi next to the Great House infinity pool
• Splash around and even sample a cocktail or two at the swim-up bar in the Beach Pavilion Pool
• Work up a sweat and show your competitive side on one of our two floodlit tennis courts. There’s a professional coach who can give you a few pointers!
• Learn to wind or kite-surf with the help of our fantastic watersports instructors
• Work up an appetite for dinner in our fully equipped gymnasium

• Feel the wind in your hair! Have a go on one of our sailing or speed boats
• Suit up and get wet! We have kayaks, water-skiing & wakeboarding equipment, snorkelling equipment, an inflatable banana, ringoes and more
• Make sure that big one doesn’t get away; we have fishing equipment available (not deep sea however we can organize this for you for an extra charge)
• Party on the sand! We’ll organize a local steel or calypso band for one party evening
• Take a stroll around the island. There are 102 flamingos to spot as well as a
host of other birds and tortoises, plus the views out to sea are truly breathtaking – from any angle!
• Sit back and relax. We have an extensive video, book and music library in the Great House, along with a good selection of board games
• Sun yourself in the hammock or head to the beach – no crowds to battle here!
• Challenge a friend to a game on the full-sized snooker table in the Great House
• Drift away with a relaxing massage or treatment at the Bali Leha Spa (treatments not included in the rates)

We can arrange practically anything to help you mark a special occasion: fireworks, hundreds of balloons, a non-stop feast; you tell us what you want and we’ll make it happen.

Getting There

Necker Island is located in the British Virgin Islands (BVI), a stunning and unspoiled area of the Caribbean. You can reach Necker via San Juan (Puerto Rico), St Thomas, Antigua or Barbados followed by a connecting flight to Beef Island, Tortola. From Beef Island there’s a 30 minute transfer by our private launch.

• The closest international airport is on Tortola (Beef Island) which is a 35-minute flight from San Juan and up to a 1 hour 20 minute flight from Antigua. It is possible to fly to the British Virgin Islands via many parts of the Caribbean, with the most popular routes being via San Juan, Antigua and St. Thomas.

• By boat Necker is approximately 30 minutes from Tortola and 10 minutes from Virgin Gorda where there is another smaller airport. It is also possible to reach Necker Island by helicopter from Tortola, Virgin Gorda, St. Thomas, San Juan and many other neighbouring islands.

• Arriving by helicopter is the best way to land straight onto the island, but please note that helicopters cannot fly after dark in the British Virgin Islands except in emergencies, as customs must be open to clear the flight.

• Private aircraft can land at Beef Island and Virgin Gorda (depending on aircraft size) to then transfer by boat or helicopter to Necker.

• It is also possible to anchor a yacht off Necker, if guests are going to be sailing in the area.

• Fixed wing aircraft are NOT able to land on Necker Island.

Rates

Necker Island can be hired exclusively for up to 28 people sharing 14 rooms. A minimum stay of 5 nights generally applies. Supplements and minimum stay requirements may apply over Christmas, New Year and Easter.

With the Island all to yourselves, you can create your very own Necker experience – choose your favourite food and drink, the sports you’d like to learn, when you want to get up and how late you want to party! If you can’t take the island, take a room during specific weeks and share the island with others.

Tempting Offers

New Celebration Week
Normally the entire island is hired privately by an individual or group, but during Celebration Weeks individual rooms can be booked by couples or singles who then share the island with others. The rates are based on two adults sharing one room.

update: You don’t have to wait until 2009 to visit Necker Island for a Celebration Week – we’ve added an additional week this year starting on December 13th for 3, 4 or 7 night stays. You’ll share this island paradise with up to 13 other couples, including some of the pioneering astronauts signed up for Virgin Galactic’s space flights in 2009! Rates for two people sharing one room start from US$10,100 for a three night stay. Children are welcome, and when sharing with their parents under five’s stay for free while for children aged between 5 and 12 supplements apply.
